How Self-Erecting Cranes Operate
Urban Cranes provide self-erecting cranes for dry hire for easy and quick insertion on construction sites with restricted space. Self-erecting cranes must be safely assembled in a fixed position on the construction site by qualified field engineers. Rapid unfolding and erection of a tower crane is powered by a reliable hydraulic system. The usual operation mode of self-erecting cranes is with remote control, but some situations require attaching an operator cabin to the crane tower section. Self-erecting cranes can be easily transported from project to project on a single train, trailer or semi-trailer with their reduced dimensions and short rear slewing radius.
